Skip hire in Bomaderry
Bomaderry is Nowra's neighbour on the other side of the river. The Nowra Bridge links the two, and Bomaderry station is the southern end of the South Coast railway line. Because it's so close to Nowra, most skip operators that cover the Shoalhaven also deliver here, and travel is a small part of the price.
Common jobs here are garage and shed clean-outs, bathroom and kitchen renovations, and clearing a rental or deceased estate. A 3–4 m³ skip suits most single-room jobs, and 6–8 m³ a whole-house clear-out. See the skip size guide.
Where the skip can go
If the bin fits on your driveway or front yard, you generally don't need council approval. Putting it on the street or nature strip is different: Shoalhaven City Council lists a waste container in a public place as an activity that needs approval under section 68. Read the Shoalhaven skip permit guide before you book a street placement.
Nearest tip for Bomaderry
The closest council depot is the West Nowra Recycling & Waste Depot at 120 Flatrock Road, Mundamia, across the river. Council lists it as open 8am to 5pm daily (closed public holidays except Easter Monday). It's cashless, has a Community Recycling Centre for paint, gas bottles, batteries and oils, and accepts asbestos by appointment only. If you only have a trailer load, a tip run may be cheaper than a skip. For anything bigger, a skip saves the trips.
