Skip hire in Huskisson
A lot of Huskisson's housing is holiday homes and rentals, so many skip jobs are turnovers: old beds, outdoor furniture and worn carpet cleared between tenants or before a sale. These loads are bulky but light, so a 4–6 m³ skip usually goes further than you'd expect. Renovations and garden clean-ups with tea-tree, banksia and palm prunings are the other big category.
Sandy blocks and tight streets
Coastal blocks can be sandy and soft, and some streets near the bay are narrow. Put the bin on a firm driveway if you can, use planks to spread the load, and tell the operator about overhead wires or trees. In peak holiday periods, book early and check the delivery window.
Huskisson depot
Shoalhaven City Council's Huskisson Recycling & Waste Depot is at 235 Huskisson Road. Council lists it as open 8am to 5pm daily (closed public holidays except Easter Monday). It's cashless and has a weighbridge, a Community Recycling Centre and garden waste drop-off. Its listed features don't include asbestos, which council accepts by appointment at the West Nowra and Ulladulla depots instead.
Council rules
A skip wholly on your property generally doesn't need approval. On the street or nature strip, check with Shoalhaven City Council first. See the permit guide.

Tell us your street or nearest cross-street, the size you think you need and what's going in. We pass it to one local skip bin operator who services Huskisson, and they come back to you with a price and delivery day. It's free and there's no obligation to book. If it's a rental turnover, say how many days you need the bin. Start your quote.
